This award is for the best affordable home ownership development that can demonstrate the contribution to building environmentally sustainable homes. Judges will be looking for entries which have successfully met some or all of the criteria below:
- How have you integrated sustainability into your development
- Evidence how the development has achieved a high environmental/code rating
- How have you helped your customers tackle sustainability issues (e.g. promotion of understanding and training to both staff and customers)
- Provide details of what you have done to minimise waste, increase recycling, reduce energy and waste consumption, reduce the use of motor vehicles and improve the natural habitat of the development
- Highlight a project case study of an example of a specific sustainability initiative that you have launched.
